Project Description
CERM provides RWR with services and expertise in decision making for various divisions including engineering, central maintenance, water treatment & distribution, wastewater treatment & collections, and watershed protection. Specific and ongoing program management support includes developing and implementing plans for the County’s inflow and infiltration (I&I) program, wastewater treatment capacity management, and drinking water storage tank site analysis.
Project Highlights
CERM provides executive management and staff augmentation engineering support to the Department. CERM’s support allows RWR to continue to progress in several critical programs and initiatives that directly support the County’s economic development efforts as well as maintain RWR’s regulatory compliance which include:
- Inspection, cleaning, and/or rehabilitation of over 20% of the County’s sewer system
- Completion of the 2040 RWR Water and Sewer Master Plan Development and completion of the Water and Sewer Asset Management Plan
- Development and completion of the Risk and Resiliency Plan
- Development and completion of the Emergency Response Plan
Additional operational support efforts and program actions conducted by CERM personnel on behalf of RWR include the following:
- Water and sewer infrastructure asset inventory and condition assessment
- I&I program development, tracking, and reporting
- Sanitary sewer rehabilitation program development, implementation, tracking, and reporting
- Wastewater treatment capacity management, alternative analysis and approach to capacity improvement alternatives.
- Potable water storage management, alternative analysis and approach to site placement alternatives.
