Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport Runway 9L End Around Taxiway
The City of Atlanta Department of Aviation (DOA) constructed a new taxiway and parallel, relocated, non-licensed vehicle road (NLVR) around the west end of Runway 9L at Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport.

Project Description
The construction of the new facilities followed demolition of existing asphalt paved parking areas, roadways and minor auxiliary structures, and relocation of above- and below-ground utilities.
Scope of Work: CERM provided subsurface investigation in support of the pavement design for the new taxiway, roadway, parking lot and retaining walls. CERM also conducted an existing conditions topographic survey, pavement marking design, complete civil engineering design of a realignment of a roadway and public parking lot (including drainage, restriping, development of a complex construction phasing plan and coordination of a signage package (for the roadway and parking area). CERM is currently providing construction administration support and QA Survey.

- Topographic survey depicting 1-foot contours of the approximately 75-acre site, associated drainage, and above ground utility locations
